For Sale
I do not sell hatching eggs or birds outside the UK because government restrictions make it difficult. I am a hobby breeder. I have neither the time nor the inclination to go thru all the expense and regulatory requirement to export.
Birds are available for viewing by appointment only. Buyers may collect the birds at my home in Harrow, North West London or make the relevant arrangements via courier. I can also sometimes arrange to meet in central London (e.g. rail station or bus station) if you are visiting London.

Grading & Pricing
I categorise my birds for sale into the following:
- pet quality hens: These are healthy birds, but not of good Serama type. These may be a bit long in the back or with poor wing/tail carriage or on the larger side. These will make excellent pets and broodies, however I would not recommend using them for breeding as they would produce a large number of offspring of pet quality. If you want to breed Seramas, it is well worth going out of your way to buy the best quality. Guide price for pet quality hens £10-£20 each
- breeder quality hens: These birds are of reasonable Serama type, however may have a few faults (even top quality birds have faults). They have potential for breeding top quality offspring if mated approriately. Guide price £20-£35 each
- breeder hens and cockerels with potential show quality: These are the pick of the bunch and will only have very minor faults. They have that special something that you'd expect in Seramas. Price may vary considerably depending on quality. Please note that smaller top quality birds do not always make the best and most prolific breeders. I only sell these birds with great hesitancy and always give preference to someone who is experienced at keeping/breeding chickens. Price will vary considerably depending on the birds
Silkie feathered birds tend to be marginally more expensive, as silkie feathering is a recessive trait and they are much harder to produce.
I have limited space, so I only grow on a few cockerels for my own breeding purposes. I do however sell young cockerels, but only keep them for a very limited period. If you are looking for a breeding group with a cockerel please let me know in advance.
I do not sell pet quality cockerels!
Disclaimer
I sell birds and eggs in good faith. I go to great lenghts to ensure that all of my birds are healthy and well cared for. I cannot guarantee the eventual final size and quality of birds sold. I also cannot accept returned birds, as I enforce strict quarantine measures to avoid disease getting into my flock.
Younger birds may need a bit of shelter and warmth. Birds being transported can sometimes encounter some stress, so please try to avoid anything that will further stress them. Chickens can sometimes squabble, so care should always be taken when being introducing new birds to an established flock to ensure that everyone gets along!
